St. Michaels, MD.
I'm pretty convinced St. Michaels is one of the cutest towns in America. It's nestled on the eastern shore with idyllic historical homes, sailboats, and ice cream shops on almost every corner. We made a quick trip over on Saturday to enjoy afternoon tea at The Inn at Perry Cabin and some time by the water. We also got to meet up with Jess and Sam who were having a little parents-only getaway to celebrate Sam's birthday. It felt like the perfect day to welcome the glorious spring weather we're finally seeing! It was also sweet to be back in St. Michaels because when Aaron and I were newly dating and (quickly) falling in love, we came out for the day and it was one of the first places we seriously talked about getting married. It was surreal to be back 5 years later, still as obsessed with each other, and with a baby on the way. Time is flying!

I recently developed a roll of film that was split down the middle with some of our last months in New York and some of our newest memories in Maryland. While in the city this week I had to pop by our old apartment building and it was so strange to be back in our neighborhood where nothing had changed and life was continuing on as normal. It made me smile when I picked up this film and got the sweet surprise of reliving some of those last memories we shared in the city - especially after a nostalgic visit this week. The pictures aren't anything special but I loved this warm December day where we walked through the park so I could meet Christine for tea, and I'm happy to have captured so many wonderful snippets of our life in the city to look back on.
