Dia:Beacon

Every now and then a trip out of the city is just what you need for some inspiration and fresh air. To do just that, Christine and I took a quick trip on Sunday for some small town vibes and art  - our goal was to get a good Instagram and a few hours out of the city grind. There are a bunch of adorable towns as you make your way up the Husdon River, but on this particular adventure we stopped in Beacon, NY to finally see what all the fuss was about at Dia:Beacon. This museum is a photographers dream with natural light, abundant white walls, and open space. At one point we did get chided by an older art buff since we admittedly didn't know much about the art we were viewing. She took the opportunity to educate us and also gave us something to laugh about after the fact!
